Seans Wedding and Route 66

Ok - Dodged the hurricanes, no shutters are on the house, buuuuut made sure the insurance was up to date and paid just in case, and,,,,,yup,  we are good to go.
Time to start packing the bags for Sean and Lindsays wedding.  You heard correctly - Sean is jumping off the single man wagon and into the land of marriage.  Home of terrible dinners, joint checking accounts and the end of your baseball card collection (its cool I'm safe, Carrie never reads this crap).  >>Side-note - has anyone ever gone commando in a tux??  thinking that ought to be memorable.>>


So with the holiday weekend, and getting to go to St Louis and all - Carrie and I decided that we ought to do some site seeing.
Now I have been to St Louis a time or two, but never even got to go up in the Arch, and honestly, that got me to thinking,,, what else is out there that havent I done or seen....
The thoughts started streaming in, see a live buffalo, The Grand Canyon, Roswell NM,,, the worlds largest pop bottle!!!

And go Figure - with the holiday weekend and all - what did I decide made the most sense  you guessed it, or wait - probably not,  but the spoiler title gave it away- -Driving Route 66.
From the windy shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago to the Pacific in Santa Monica - we will be trekking across the country.  I will have camera and upload our travels each night - there will be no shortage of cheeky tourist traps, a couple of national parks, hopefully a few bison, surely more U turns than you can shake a stick at, and most importantly,, A WEDDING!!
